Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) topics to be covered:

  • Agreed dates for services.
  • Detailed description of services and expectations.
  • Hourly rate or contract fee.
  • Deposit to secure my services on the days you need me (generally $1,000 to hold your dates).
  • Cancellation Policy – Generally a month notice is required for MOU cancellation. Specific cancellation of days during agreement period would generally require full payment, unless rescheduling without loss of income was possible.

Whenever possible, I’m always open to changing the schedule to fit your needs. Please let me know your concerns and we can look for a solution together. I appreciate your understanding that when we have a MOU, I have blocked out specific days and times for your family. This means that I may have turned away other work to hold your dates and must be compensated for my time if you cancel pre-arranges dates.

In the event of a disagreement, both parties agree to make their best effort to find a mutually agreeable solution. If this is not possible, parties agree to see mediation counsel with the intention of finding a full resolution in this venue.

Memorandum of Understanding Policy:

My goal is to provide you with excellent service and educated un-biased support which includes a compassionate approach at all times. However, if at any moment you are not satisfied with my services, habits, or communication style, I ask you to let me know as soon as you are aware of these barriers. I will happily make any needed changes to accommodate your expectations and needs.

General Payment Policies:

If I am traveling for you, I bill at 24 hours/day unless we make a different arrangement under special circumstances.

During any travel assignments, you agree to be responsible for my expenses: transportation, room and board, taxes and tips, and any other special requests.

My invoices will be presented to you weekly, on Wednesday or Thursday evening. Payment must be made by Friday of each week. I do not accept credit cards. Checks should be made out to Helena Mantese.
